Call me an American Dissident. I believe in democracy and government of, FOR, and BY the PEOPLE. I do NOT believe in the plutocratic corpocracy this country is today, wherein government is made and administered of the wealthy, by the wealthy, and for the wealthy. I believe in wealth which is HONESTLY attained through hard work and merit. I do NOT believe in wealth attained by means of deceit, exploitation, or leverage. There is enough for all in this world. Greed is the major cause of poverty, and both are totally unnecessary.
Hi everybody. I am on leave for a week to ten days or so. My terminally ill mother is literally in her last days and I am tending to that for the time being. Thank you.
Losing a parent is never easy, but we can take comfort from the fact that they are beyond pain. "When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, then the saying that is written will come true: 'Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O grave, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?'" -- 1 Corinthians 15:54-55
Your efforts to aid her have been extraordinary, and I am certain you brought her the comfort she needed, and then some.
Hopefully the aftermath will be as easy as possible. Big life changes always bring big challenges, and it is those she left behind that have the hard job now.
Glad she has finally found peace in passing, may you as well in life.
